QR Code Generator
Turn a link or any text into a QR code and download it as a PNG.
What this tool does
Turns eleven different kinds of content into a scannable QR code — not just a plain link, but a full Wi-Fi login, a saveable contact card, a pre-filled email or text message, a calendar invite, a map location, or a social profile — with live styling and a one-click PNG download.
Content types
Pick what the code should do when scanned, and the form below it changes to match:
- Text / URL and Link — any plain text or web address.
- Social Profile — pick a platform (Instagram, X, Facebook, LinkedIn, GitHub, TikTok, YouTube, or a custom URL) and enter just the handle; the correct profile link is built automatically.
- Contact (vCard) and Business Card — name, phone, email, organisation, website, job title and address are packed into a standard vCard that a phone offers to save straight to contacts.
- Email and SMS — opens the device's mail or messaging app with the recipient, subject/message already filled in.
- Wi-Fi — encodes the network name, password and security type (WPA/WPA2, WEP, or none) so scanning it joins the network directly, no typing required. A hidden-network option is included.
- Phone — dials a number on scan.
- Location — drops a pin at a latitude/ longitude on the device's map app.
- Calendar Event — title, location, description and start/end time become an event a calendar app can add directly.
Styling and branding
Foreground and background colours are pickers with quick swatches, including a transparent background and a rainbow gradient fill. Four module shapes are available — square, rounded, dots, and a fully rounded "classy" style — and a logo image can be dropped into the centre; error correction is automatically raised to a higher level whenever a logo is present, so the code stays scannable underneath it.
Getting it out
The preview updates live as any field or style changes, and the finished code downloads as a PNG at full resolution with a one click.
Privacy
The QR code is generated entirely in your browser, including any uploaded logo image — nothing you type or upload is sent to a server.
